Mattress
Most midi beds use standard UK single mattresses. The top bunk is equipped with a safety rail for added security. Some models come with the option of a pull-out trundle drawer which can be used for sleepovers, or to add more storage space under the bed. They can be opened or equipped with a door (please look at the product's specifications for more details).
Many midi cabins include a desk which can be moved between two upper levels, or chests of drawers. This allows the children to have their own space to keep all of their belongings. It also means that they don't need to take up valuable floor space by using large wardrobes or shelves.
Some models have gone a step beyond with cabinets that are flush mounted or even part of the headboard/footboard. This is perfect for storing books and toys.
